Arts Day
Arts Day is an annual event that I started at Lincoln Elementary School in February 2010. Every elementary student spends an afternoon participating in arts related activities. Arts Day provides an opportunity for parents to show their creative sides by participating in the activities with their children or showing off their talents as instructors. Activities include, but are not limited to, the visual arts, martial arts, culinary arts, and performing arts. The photos below are some highlights from previous Arts Days.

Christine,
You rock!!!!! Thank you so much for organizing this amazing day. I can only begin to imagine how much work this is, but I know how excited the kids are to be able to participate in it. Events like Arts Day are what make Lincoln so special. Thanks again for everything YOU do to make this happen!

Christine- Thank you so much for giving parents the possibility to know firsthand how it feels to be a kindergarten teacher and to share this special time with our children.
All the best,

Hi Christine,
First, I wanted to congratulate you for such a wonderful idea! Enriching the students integral learning experience and advancing the Art portfolio through activities like this one, it's not only a Lincoln parent's goal, but a pleasure to be part of, when given the opportunity. Seeing how far in advance the Art department will prepare for it, also speaks highly of the professional commitment you guys bow for on a daily basis. Thank you!
