Grade 2-Wassily KandinskyBased on Wassily Kandinsky's painting Tree of Life second graders used pipe cleaners, markers, and paper to create their own trees of life.

Grade 3- Claes OldenburgAfter studying Claes Oldenburg's Pop Art sculptures, third graders were asked to create their own pop art using Crayola's Model Magic. Artists mixed primary colors and white to other colors.

Grade 4- recycled projectIn honor of Earth Day, fourth graders were given a 1.5 liter plastic bottle (discarded from our cafeteria) and asked to create a recycled person or animal. Artists could manipulate the bottle in any way and add other recycled materials to complete the assignment.
